July 29th, 2023 - You Are Loved Clear Stamp Set CLR282

Hi friends! I cannot believe we are almost to the end of July already! Time flies when you're having FUN! Tia here with you from RockyMtnCraftia.com. This is my last Christmas in July card, but I'll keep working on those holiday cards until the beginning of December.

Yesterday my lovely teammate Teresa Cashion from Lollipots 'N' Polkadots, posted a beautiful card where she also featured the 'You Are Loved' stamp set. It's just such a beautiful and versatile set-truly a MUST HAVE!!!

I am here showing another take with this clear stamp set. Today, I focused more on the sentiment that comes with the set because it is just so lovely. From the Book of Matthew 6:26- "Look at the birds of the air; they do not stow away in barns. Yet your Heavenly Father feeds them."

To keep the focus on the sentiment, I used a clever card sketch from Cards By Kendra. This is sketch #12 from Kendra's Card Challenge #10. (P.S. she has a new challenge going on now!)

I embossed the sentiment, so in person it's all shiny and raised! I fussy cut the "parent & child" birds from the set and placed them on both sides to draw you into the sentiment. And of course this is all added onto some beautiful holiday papers from my fav. Echo Park for an A2 sized card.

A clean and simple Christmas card made lickety-split! This is a great card idea for making multiples of cards to mail out!

Thanks so much for checking in with us today! I hope you've been inspired by my Christmas in July cards and the whole team! The best part is you can revisit the blog all year long for these cards!

Now, time to get warmed up for August and shhhhhh-a NEW RELEASE?!?! Stay tuned!

And GO GET CRAFTY!

Deck the Halls!

Hi friends!  I am back again with another Christmas card to share using the You Are Loved Clear Stamp Set.  I really, really love making Christmas cards, so you will be tired of hearing from me by the time Christmas gets here!

I love everything about this stamp set, and I wanted to create a card that showed nature celebrating.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and cut it out.  I added white embellishments using a Posca Paint Pen and when it was dry, I added some sparkly white embossing paste to the tree, stars, hats, and base of the tree.
I used a dome-shaped die to die-cut the center of a white panel, and then I dry-embossed the panel.  I used a night sky digital paper inside the dome.
I heat embossed the sentiment and backed the panel with glitter card stock.  I adhered the image to the card base, added a bow of red and white metallic embroidery floss, and added some bling.
I hope you love this card as much as I do!  Make sure to stop by the shop and check out this sweet stamp set!
Thank you so much for hanging out with me for a few minutes!

Look At the Birds of the Air!

Hi crafty friends!  Today, I am sharing another fun project made with the You Are Loved Clear Stamp Set.  Have you ever seen a cuter trio of birdies bundled up for winter?

I created a bookmark/tag using these little cuties as I wanted a taller project that would accommodate the beautiful verse.  I colored the birds with Copic Markers, cut them out and set them aside.

I heat-embossed the sentiment directly onto a beautiful digital paper and I tore a strip of white card stock to make a snowbank.  I covered the snowbank in sparkly embossing paste, which I also added to the pom-poms and brim of the hat for some "floof".   Once the paste was dry, I adhered the snowbank to the background, and I backed the entire panel with holographic paper before adhering to the base.

I adhered the birds to the tag and then I added some snowflake sequins to complete the scene.  Lastly, I used an iridescent ribbon to finish off the tag.

Make sure to head over to the shop to check out this precious stamp set!  I love that the elements can be used for all sorts of different projects/seasons!
Thanks so much for spending a few minutes of your day!
