Prickley Pear Stamps

Hey Y'all!!! It's day 4 of the new LOVE YOU release at Prickley Pear Stamps and I'm showcasing the LOVE YOU stamp set and die. So sweet. Love makes the world go around, right? I started by printing the LOVE YOU letters on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper and coloring them with Copic markers.

The card base is from Melon Mambo and the measurements are 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" on the long side.  Make sure you use your bone folder and burnish the fold well so it doesn't tear the fold.

The layer on top of the Melon Mambo is Basic White. It's cut to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". Obviously you can make it whatever size make you happy. It's glued to the card base with wet glue. On top of the basic white is a piece of turquoise card stock cut to 5 1/4" x 4". I rounded the edges of both the white and turquoise paper with a corner rounder.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock 5" x 3 7/8" and rounded the corners. I used the Speckled Heart stencil and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink to create a beautiful background that matched all the card stock and inks.

I popped up the letters with foam tape and made sure they were closer to the lower right corner so I would have room for some sort of embellishment.

Using Fabri-Tac I glued some beautiful flowers & leaves to the upper right corner. Don't you love to get flowers from someone who loves you?

And of course I added some Stickles because who doesn't love something sparkly.
