Stars & Stripes

Happy Fourth of July!

To those who call "home" the United States, I know today is a day of celebration, so we've selected a "Stars and Stripes" theme for our projects today.

However, many members of our Design Team hail from outside the United States, therefore, our "Stars and Stripes" will be illustrated in pattern, rather than patriotism.

Up first day is Michelle, with this beautiful card in the patriotic colors of red, white and blue. I love the bright and somewhat unusual coloring of A Mother's Love. The sentiment comes from Butterflies Clear set

Heather created her card using Row Houses. This new set comes with adorable matching dies that make it easy to create fun scenes like this one.

Heidi has created this yummy birthday card using the Build a Cupcake set. This set has mix and match tops and bottoms that can be easily cut with the Cupcake dies and assembled into multiple variations.

And finally, this bright and cheery stars and stripes creation is by Lisa and uses the Ice Cream Cone die set and matching stamp set

Want to pick up this set and the matching dies for a great price? There are still some limited edition June kits in the store, which includes both these items, plus accessories to make two cards for the low price of $29.99!

We hope you enjoyed this Tuesday edition and hope you have a fantastic day!

Celebrations!

July is just around the corner and we've got Canadian and US Design Team members who are getting ready to celebrate their national holiday.

And so this week we bring you celebrations.

Not necessarily patriotic celebrations, but celebrations for any special event!

Turns out what the Prickley Pear Design Team has been celebrating lately is birthdays...

Here is Tracie celebratory birthday card, using the Bold Daisies from our May release. Sentiment is from the Circles Set

Heather has brought out the Butterfly Sentiments and Butterfly Die for this great way to use up your favorite scraps. Did you know the Buttefly Die goes with three other sets besides this one?

Lisa is getting crafty with the Build a Cupcake set, one of three sets that work with the Cupcake die set.

Inside you'll find sentiments from the same set and a place to tuck in a little gift for the birthday gal or guy.

And one more from Heather. This overflowing birthday basket is made with the cone from the Build an Ice Cream set. The florals are from the Poinsettia Leaf die. And, sentiment is from the Mini Butterflies 2 set.

Thanks for stopping by to visit today. We'll be back on Thursday with a Vintage Viewpoint.

Prickley Pear Card Kits

Back in March, Prickley Pear introduced Card Kits. These kits come with all the pre-cut pieces, ribbons, accessories and detailed instructions to make the two cards shown in the kit picture.

And the best part? They are a less than the cost of the stamp set and die set included with the kit.

How can you beat that?

But...these kits come in limited quantities.
One they're gone, they're gone.

At the time of this post, our March, April and May kits have sold out, but there are still some June kits in the store.

The June kit comes with the Build an Ice Cream Cone clear stamp set and the matching Ice Cream Cone die set. These two sets sell for a retail price of just under $34...but you can get them AND the extras for $29.99!

Here are two additional cards not included with the kit, but can be made with the stamps in these two sets.

Stack 'em up!

Banana split anyone?

If you missed the June kit, then make sure you swing by on July 1st to find out what our next kit and to pick one up before these limited quantity kits sell out.
