Back to School Bookmarks!

Hello Everyone!

Normally I would be greeting you on a Tuesday, but with back to school and our New Release last week, time got away from me. So, instead you get a Wonderful Wednesday post with the Prickley Pear Design Team!

Today, three members of the Design Team have created beautiful bookmarks. Perfect for back to school! Whether you're a student who needs to mark that important chapter, or a parent who FINALLY has some free reading time after the summer!

Here we go!

First up is Irit's beautiful card. Irit has used the Blobby Flowers 2 clear set for her creation, along with the Heart Dandelion and Vase with Heart.

Sharon has crafted up some reading fun with the new Tea Set. I love the tassle on the bottom of the bookmark. Genius! Pick up this clear set and the matching Coffee Cup dies for less than $35!

Lisa has also used the new Tea Set, but has incorporated the older Coffee Cup set too in her magnetic bookmarks. Also used on these bookmarks is the Coffee Stain, a must have for any coffee creator.

Lisa tells me these are the perfect size for planners!

I promise not to be late this week with our Thursday post! Come right back here to check it out.

Brilliant Backgrounds

Do you ever look at your finished project and think "well, that's kinda boring!". Image looks great, sentiment is sweet....but that background is just bleh!

Here are three ways our Prickley Pear Design Team takes those backgrounds up a notch.

Irit is the queen of brilliant backgrounds! Remember her super cool canvas piece back in March? She's pulled out the stencils and texture paste again to make this textured background for the Let Your Faith Be Bigger sentiment.

Sharon's sponged a gorgeous scene with Row Houses. I could make my home sweet home in that scene!

And Tracie has done a little repetitive thinking with the Blobby Flowers 2 clear set. I just love how this one turned out! Sentiment is from the same set.

Thanks for stopping by to visit today. We'll be back on Thursday with a Vintage Viewpoint.

Don't forget to visit the Prickley Pear Store and Facebook page for all the latest news.

Thursday Design Team Inspiration

Happy Thursday!

I'm delighted to bring you another week of inspiration with the talented Prickley Pear Design Team.

Today we have a variety of themes for you, which is the beauty of these Thursday posts.

Irit has created this card using the Dancing Couple

and Heart Key Crown clear set.

Here's Michelle with Prissy the Pig and I'm Sow Excited For You. The Blobby Flowers 2 and Blobby Flowers die make the perfect embellishment!

Heather is putting her new Build An Umbrella set to good use, pairing it with Life is Not About.

And here Heidi shows us the new Dainty Dragonflies set, with matching Dainty Dragonflies dies.

(Sentiment from Riley & Company)

Isn't that a beautiful set of cards this week? I just love seeing what this team comes up with!

We're back with more next Tuesday and we hope to see you here!
