LOVEly Sentiments

Welcome to this weeks Vintage Viewpoint where we take a look at some of the older options in the Prickley Pear inventory.

Today I have picked for you a look at the LOVEly sentiments in our collection. What does that mean? Well, check it out.

We start with I've Fallen in Love, a red rubber option that fits nicely on your card front. 

 

This card uses Valentine Balloon and the Carry All Of My Love sentiment.

 

And this one with the Life & Love sentiment and Flourished Bird Cage.

Vintage Viewpoint

Here we are, almost the middle of June. In many places, school are winding up for the year, kids are looking forward to the days of freedom and parents are counting the days until school returns. 

Prickley Pear has a whole category dedicated to the seasons. It's here that I travelled to for today's Vintage View point, celebrating the Summer season.

Does the fair come to town where you live? Our family visits the local historical park and rides the carousel with hand-crafted horses. Here is Carousel Horse.

 

We don't have a balloon festival around here, but I've always wanted to see one in person. Make your own balloon festival with the Hot Air Balloons clear set.

The Hot Air Balloons clear set has a matching Hot Air Balloon die available. Check out this clever use of the die.

Around our house, cycling is a favorite pastime. Though we usually travel solo instead of on a Bicycle for Two.

Thursday Inspiration!

Hello Prickley Pear Fans!
 We are happy to have you here today for another edition of Thursday Inspiration with the Design Team.

Before we get to our projects, I want to let you know that this blog will be mighty busy starting January 23rd, as Prickley Pear celebrates our first New Release of 2017.

We have a lovely mix of creations on today's post. 

Kelly takes us to the sky with Hot Air Balloons. This is a great option for those who like versatile sets! This plane makes for great masculine options, but the other images in the set can have a feminine spin, or add sweet touches to your backgrounds. 

Michelle has also given us a "in flight" option, with a dog-gone cute spin for Valentine's day. This is Winged Heart with the Dogs Leave Paw Prints sentiment. Also used on this creation is Blobby Flowers 2 and the matching die (these are on my wish list!). 

 

 Michelle clearly has her head in the clouds this week, as her second card also takes wing with Birds on a Wire. I love the serene feel of this beautiful card. Sentiment is Heaven & Nature.

 

Speaking of nature, Heidi has taken the Day of the Dead Skull clear set and given it a celebratory wreath of flowers. Looking for that sentiment? It's a shortened version of Live, Dance, Laugh. 

 

Heather has also featured flowers with the Mini Hibiscus die set. This die cut is a fantastic addition to your craft room for a fantastic price. Also used in this project is the Coffee Cup Clear set and I have to point out that the Scalloped Circle Die on this project is also quickly becoming a huge favorite.

 

Hang on to your scroll button for one final projects this week. Heidi has this adorable Valentine cupcake card from the Build a Cupcake set. I spy a Prickley Pear mini butterfly in this creation too.
