Hi crafty friends! Kim here from KimKreates to share this cheerful card starring the adorable Spinach and Ramona!
I started with a white base cut to 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2" to create a top fold card. I wanted to use a blue and yellow color pallet, so I dug through my stash for some fun papers, and I trimmed them to the following sizes:
Yellow card stock - 5 1/4" x 4"
Blue card stock - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Blue plaid paper - 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Yellow patterned paper - 1 1/2" x 3 5/8"
Blue card stock - 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
White card stock - 3" x 4"
Using the 3" x 4" panel, I placed the lily pad onto the panel with removable adhesive and traced around it lightly with a pencil. I removed the lily pad from the panel, and I began to color my water using Copic Markers, starting with a darker outline closest to the lily pad and moving to a lighter shade, the further away it got.
I adhered the yellow and blue cardstock and the blue and yellow patterned paper together, in that order. I wrapped a piece of white seam binding around them and adhered to the back. Using liquid adhesive, I glued those layers down to the front of my card base and then adhered the blue and white panel to the top. Once I had my card built, I arranged my stamped images and glued them in place. Lastly, I tied a bow from my seam binding and attached it to the card front using a glue dot.
