March of the Butterflies

Have you noticed the catch phrase on the Prickley Pear website?

Where classic meet whimsy. 

And to me, nothing means classic and whimsy more than a the whimsical wings of a classic butterfly. 

 Prickley Pear has a fantastic variety of butterflies.  

Check out the whimsical wings from the Design Team.

Irit's beautiful card uses the Butterfly die. This die goes with three separate clear sets. These butterflies happen to be from the Butterflies set. Also used here is the Happy Anniversary sentiment. 

 

Lisa's paired the Dainty Dragonflies set with the Butterflies 2 set.

 

 There are a few other sets that use this Butterfly die. Here, Tracie's used the big butterflies from the Dragonflies 2 stamp set.

It's Team Day!!

Do you enjoy Team Days as much as I do? All this lovely inspiration, in one handy spot!

What have we got today from the talented Prickley Pear Design Team?

First up is the lovely Lisa. She's taken the Tree 2 die and made this beautiful forest. The sentiment is Memory Becomes a Treasure.

 

The second half of the sentiment has been placed on the inside of her card.

 

The stunning Sharon has thought of our four legged friends this week. This gorgeous image is Golden Retriever. The sentiment comes from the Love Banners set.

 

And tempting Tracie has created this bouquet from the Daffodil stamp. Also included here is the 2 Butterflies image and sentiment from Circles Set - Sentiments.

Dainty Dragonflies

This morning on my way to work, I jumped as I closed the gate. Resting on the fence post was an enormous dragonfly. 

I'm not really that afraid of them, but it was just a shock to find him there and I didn't want to disturb him! 

Today's post features creations with the new Dainty Dragonflies set released in May 2017. Also available is the matching Dainty Dragonflies Die Set, making these beauties a snap to cut out. 

How many times can you get a stamp set and matching dies for less than $25.00? 

First up on the blog today with this set is Sharon. She's created a beautiful rainbow background, stamped with the There is Only One Happiness sentiment. The dragonflies have been stamped on acetate, giving them an iridescent shimmer.

 

Heidi's been stamping up a herd of dragonflies! This first card is paired with the By Your Side sentiment.

   

 

This gorgeous scene evokes images of a nighttime pond trip. Can you hear the frogs?

 

And Heidi goes with pastels for her final creation. These dragonflies are paired with the Circles Set sentiments.
