Sketch Challenge

Hi folks! It’s still a couple of days left to enter your card in Prickley Pear’s Sketch Challenge. Last day is June 30th. And the prize is a clear stamp set and matching die of the winner’s choice!!! Here is my take on the fabbie sketch:

You are a wonderful friend

I’ve used two clear stamp sets for this card. The rose circle is from the Spring Scalloped Circles which is a perfect match for the Scalloped Circle Die. The flowers are from the Clearly Beautiful Flowers set and these are die cut with the Flowers Die. Here is a close up of the Circle and Stacked flowers.

You are a wonderful friend det

And the sketch:

We hope to see your take on it. You find all the info and the linking tool in THIS post. Have a lovely Sunday!

A Copic Coloring Tutorial...Featuring New Stamps!

OK... here is my first shot at a copic tutorial... I hope you will enjoy it and if you have any questions... please
contact me at Camelot4101@aol.com and I will help you any way I can.
First... stamp the image with momento black ink. I use  Neenah white card stock and it works pretty good for me. Then I colored the flower with RV0000. I hilighted the edges with RV00 and clean up any stray marks with the colorless blender.

Soften the image by Recoloring with RV0000.Using YR23 color the centers of the flowers and just a small ammount of the centers.Add accent dotd to the center with RV66.Use RV63and add variations to the petals with the brush end of the marker by flicking out to make "stripes" for contrast.

Soften with RV0000 by coloring over to blend edges as in step 3. See the arrow pointing at the one that is softened and the one that is not...

this photo shows the picture of the flowers that have all been blended.
I added spica glitter pens to the center and i colored the stems with YG95,YG97 and YG99.
And here is the finished product...
I used this months sketch to finish my card. I hope that you have enjoyed the tutorial and stay tuned as I will have another one next month featuring the card sketch for July!
