Nicole

Blog HopDay 3!

We have some more fun samples to show you today and a great new set to give away and - our Four Seasons Clear Stamps set and matching die. I have to admit when we created this set I did not think it would be a set I would use a whole lot,... but then I stamped with it, and i fell in love with this set. Many of the little stamps are soooo tiney, and the dies cut them all perfectly! You can create so many varations of a scene with this set.
Now for the samples!

Visit everyone in this order for the rest of the clues to our word of the day. Dawn, Amy, Michelle, Angelica, Me (My second letter is I), Leslie, Tesa, Jennifer. Email your word to service@prickleypear.com. Hope you enjoy all of the art you will see today!

A word about our dies and stamps...

All of our dies are wafer thin, our newer dies have tiny release holes and leave a perfect border around the stamped image for each shape that they match. Our dies work on all table top machines that are in the industry. We love using them on our Cuttlebugs, or BigShots machines (with Cuttlebugs, the more detailed dies require a paper shim if your C plates are well loved).Simply cut the shape and then ink your stamp, line the stamp up with the die cut shape and stamp into your image. We do recommend using a contrasting piece of paper to go under your die cut. For example if you have a white die cut, the put black paper underneath to easily see where your shape is on the table.

Dragonfly Clears Stamps And Die Winner!

We had a lot of people participating for the Dragonfly Set! Thanks for playing along everyone. We have randomly chosen a winner and the lucky person is...Sharron Gaffney! Congratulation Sharron!

Winter Release - Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to our Blog Hop release party! We have so many new and beautiful stamps we want to share with you.Starting today, and for the next three days we have new sets to show you and beautiful samples to share. These new releases are so fabulous, you will want them all. And our Valentine/Spring red rubber release is not to be missed.

This blog hop, we are doing something a little different. Each member of our design team has a secret letter that they will share with you, once you visit all blogs and have discovered what the word is, then e-mail us the word of the day  at service@prickleypear.com. Everyone who provides us with the correct word will be put into a random drawing to win the set of the day.

So lets get started! Our first release that we are thrilled to be bringing you is our Clearly Beautiful Dragonfly Set and Coordinating die. This card was quick and easy to do.  First I started with coordinating papers that contained shades of Mulberry. I cut out my dragonflies and stamped with gold brilliance ink. Next I cut three ovals with my Cheery Lynn Designs - Little Stackers Scallop set. I then stamped my word phrase which can be found on the All Seasons Tree set we will be showing you over the next couple of days, and the tulips. I layered the scalloped circles together, trimmed with ribbon and adhered my dragonflies as shown. So quick and easy to do!

Today, the game starts here! Next you will want to visit Dawn, Amy, Michelle, Angelica, Leslie, Tesa and Jennifer for the rest of your clues to the word. Todays winner will be announced tomorrow evening, and the winner will receive the dragonfly Set, Matching Die, and our new Valentine ATC Transparency Sheet!

Special Sneek-Peek and 365 Cards Sketch Challenge

Hi All,
Wow! CHA is just around the corner. We have been so busy preparing for the show. December was spent creating new sets of clear stamps, matching dies and a stunning red rubber release that has the most beautiful vintage valentine images. I am going to share one of these new red rubber releases with you today!

You may have noticed that I have been on a hot air balloon kick lately. It started with our Hot Air Balloon clear release. Then we did a retro christmas kitty in a hot air balloon this past holiday season and now, my newest favorite, our Vintage Valentine Balloon.

I stamped the balloon with black Memento in and colored with Copic markers. I then carefully cut around the image with a craft knife. I then pulled out my martha stewart flower punch to create the red "ribbon". I trimed out a piece of coordinating DP for both the runner to the "ribbon" and then a panel for the background. I then layered all onto a red panel (5 by 5"). From our newest two sets of clear that we will be releasing the end of the month - and celebrating with a blog hop release party, I created the little 3D flowers and stamped the phrase with Forest Moss distress ink.

Our new flower release we will be showing you is so super fun! You will be able to create your own Prima -style coordinating flowers! You are going to LOVE this release! It will be the best Die and Stamp release out there!  I hope you all enjoy this special preview. It is just a small sample of what is to come!

Be sure to check back as we will be starting our sneek-peaks for the Blog Hop Release Party on the 19th!http://365cards.blogspot.com/

A Beautiful Card Just Sent to Us

Often we get orders and fulfill and I often think to myself, "I hope they use and enjoy their stamps". Yesterday I got a lovely email from Karin (Peppermintpatty's Papercrafts) who just recently purchased some of our stamps. She was gracious enough to let us share her work with you all here!

Thank you Karin for sharing your card! It certainly turned out beautiful. The Posies a Plenty background stamp has always been one of my favorites.

Dear Nicole,
I got the stamps yesterday and I just have to say THANK YOU once again - they are sooo GREAT! I love them - the way they stamp is super. I've only had clearstamps before but this totally opened up a new world to me (-:!  I've attached a pic of the first card I've made with your stamps.  Have a great week-end, thanks and love, Karin
