Looking for NEW DESIGN TEAM Members!!!

It’s that time again! PRICKLEY PEAR RUBBER STAMPS is looking for new design team members!

We need your help, creativity and enthusiasm promoting our products through your personal blogs and in online galleries. We are looking for 4 Rubber Stamping Artists & 2 Scrapbooking Artists! We encourage you to show us your best, even if you have not been widely recognized as a designer or are just starting out. This call is open to everyone interested.

Application Process
All submissions must be received by 11:59 pm MST, September 1, 2009. New design team members will be contacted by September 30, 2009. New design team will be announced via the PPRS blog and PPRS website on October 1, 2009. The term is for ONE YEAR and will end October 1, 2010.

8. Three (3) items, cards, layouts or altered art piece using stamps as the main focus. Your submissions don’t need to be all Prickley Pear related. Although seeing some samples using our stamps would be greatly appreciated. We just need to see your stampig abilities.

9. Tell us about youself in a few sentences. Where you passions lie, what your favorite project have been, how long you have been stamping - stuff like that.

10. Let us know if you are a current or past design team member for other companies. (We do not expect you to work only for us).

Design Team Benefits
Term - October 1, 2009 – October 1, 2010
1. Large welcome basket for new design team members filled with stamps and stamping goodies to get you all started for submissions and other requirements.

2. You will receive $10.00 to $20.00 in new Prickley Pear designs/product monthly or as created.

3. Payment for all pieces published in printed media. Payment amounts will vary from project to project, with a minimum of $10.00 for publication in a single publication.

4. $50.00 in rubber as payment for those who get Prickley Pear into their favorite rubber stamp stores.

5. Access to 25% off discounts on a number of companies that Prickley Pear orders from.
Credit for each piece of art published on all Prickley Pear newsletters, ads and web postings. 25% discount when ordering from PPRS, if you order anything that has not been sent to you for design team requirements.

6. You will get full credit on the PPRS blog with your photo attached to each posting to the blog. You will get recognition on a design team page on the PPRS website – with a bio and photo placed.

Design Team Expectations
1. 9 attempted submissions to publications per year. You will be provided a folder with all submission guidelines. To get a specific call for artwork you may want to check with individual publications.

2. Card Makers: You will need to turn in 2 cards and 1 altered art piece a month, ie ATC’s booklets, magnets, ornaments... You will need to contribute 2 step-by-step technique tutorials for the blog per year. If you do not meet the monthly requirements, new product releases will be with held until requirements have been met. In all delays in mailing of required submissions an e-mail or phone call to PPRS is required.

3. Scrapbookers: You will need to turn in 2, 6” by 6” scrapbook pages and either 1 card or one altered art piece a month. You will need to contribute 2 step-by-step technique tutorials for the blog per year. If you do not meet the monthly requirements, new product releases will be with held until requirements have been met.

5. You will need to send reqired art to Prickley Pear each month. Cards need to have a full supply list & detailed instructions.

6. You need to have a blog that you post to often and regularly feature PPRS products.
• You need to actively post art/cards to splitcoast and other forums. Please promote PPRS whenever you see an opportunity.
• Leave occasional comments on DT Member blogs and the company blog.
• Participate in AI challenges, Blog Hops and sponsorship challenges as they are presented.

7. You will need to post ALL artwork to the Prickley Pear yahoo group before it is sent to Prickley Pear offices or any publication, along with instructions to the yahoo group, when uploading art – there is a description section that will take 1000 words at a time.

* Monthly cards and art required for submission to Prickley Pear will be used for online newsletter, direct mail promotional pieces, store newsletters, and for conventions.You will need the ability to photograph or scan your art for submission to Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.
