Foil ATC technique - By Jeanie Sunderman

When I first saw these ATC's, I just thought they were so unique and beautiful. I think I have said this before about Jeanie, but she is an incredible collage artist. From smooshed bottlecaps filled with treasures to tiny tickets, she has a gift for layering and choosing the right elements to add to her art. She teamed her collage skills with our Flourished Eiffel Tower Stamp and Ferris Wheel ATC transpapency to come up with these little gems.

Here's what she did:
These beautiful ACT's feature a technique using clear acetate and tin foil! She used alcohol inks on the acetate, for the Eiffel Tower ATC she flipped it over and stamped with Staz On - (the ferris wheel atc was already pre-printed). Next she tore pages from an old book and put partial strips on the alcohol inked side. ( She just used a glue stick) Lastly, she crumpled a piece of tin foil and glued her acetate pieces to it. The results are quite fun. For a video and instructions on this technique, go to tmta.wordpress.com . The video in not in English but easy to follow. There are also written directions in English.
