Beauty is When...By Vicki Parson

Summer is here and everywhere you look flowers are in bloom and butterflies seem to dance in their path. Choosing pink, lime green and purple card stocks, along with mixing Prickley Pear's Floral Garden, Tipped Butterfly and Beauty is When (discontinued), Vicki did a beautiful job capturing the spirit of summer.

Here is what she did:

Card measures at 4.25 by 5.5 wide.
Cut green panel at 5.25 by 4". Layer to purple card stock. Cut pink card stock to 5 by 3.75". Set aside. Cut smaller green panel 1.25 by 3.75. Layer to pink paper as shown. Adhere. Wrap pink ribbon around green and pink panel as shown and tie with a bow.
Measure and cut purple panel to 3.25 by 2.25 Distress edges by bending edges a bit. Stitch panel onto front of card face with white thread.
Cut green panel to 3 by 2.25. Set aside.
Stamp Floral garden onto white cards stock. Pull out green, pink and purple markers. Color stems, leaves, and flowers as shown (Vicki only used half of the stamped image for this card) Stamp tipped butterfly and color with markers. With a craft knife cut out butterfly and adhere with a pop dot. Layer to card face as shown.
